Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences at IOCB Prague 2021

This year's Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences will take place at IOCB from 1 to 6 November 2021, and we are preparing an extensive program including several excursions and workshops for English-speaking visitors.

We are still developing the program and adding new information about our planned activities, so if you do not currently find what you are looking for, please return in a few days.

Special program for English-speaking visitors

Friday, 5 November—Excursions for English-speaking high school classes

Excursions for English-speaking high school classes (for students 13+)

More information about the event and how to register can be found here.

Saturday, 6 November—Chemical experiments for English-speaking children from 9 years of age

A lab coat, safety goggles, gloves, and above all, a few simple but fun experiments – that awaits up-and-coming little chemists who want to experience working in a real lab. The program is suitable for children from 9 years of age accompanied by an adult.

You can register here.

Anti-epidemic measures: When visiting the institute, it is necessary to comply with the current anti-epidemic measures and wear a respirator. Visitors from 12 years of age will be required to provide proof of infection-free status (proof of completed vaccination, proof of recovery from Covid-19 within the last 180 days, or a valid negative test) – without this, they will not be admitted. Visitors younger than 12 years do not need to provide proof of infection-free status.
